| | The MagicMug effect is created by applying a coloured heat sensitive coating to white ceramic mug.
The mug is then printed using the dye sublimation print process, giving a sharp, bright and vibrant image. The image to be revealed can be printed as a 'full-wrap' print under the handle or as a 'part-wrap'.
There are 8 coloured coatings to choose from. On the darker coatings the printed image cannot really be seen. When hot liquid is added to the mug, the heat sensitive coating becomes transparent and reveals the printed image beneath, bright and strong. As the mug cools, the heat sensitive coating is restored to its original colour.
There is an option to screen overprint the WoWMug® with a message which is permanently visible whether the mug is hot or cold.
